Classified as a dwarf it will get about 8’ tall in 15 years. Fast at first. Slowing after some years. With a twiggy open stature it is covered during spring with small glossy wrinkled red leaves that have an elongated middle lobe and perch on purple branches. As you can see there is more than one type of leaf as well. Towards summer green undertones creep into the red and it aquires a purple red tone, then back to red for fall. Seems to be red or reddish toned most of the time. Great open overstory for those fern and Hosta or other perennials. Works great as a winsome deck specimen with the small shinny slashing red leaves and purple branches making each spring a party. A very colorful and interesting cultivar. Item for auction is a very well branched 1year old graft of this cultivar 15" tall. Will need immediate planting with provided instructions. We can tag and hold during extreme weather conditions.
