It is a most dramatic counterpoint to the gray-green, cream-streaked mature foliage. Unusual and striking white-green-pink foliage and long slender waving stems give a shimmering appearance to this popular Japanese dappled willow. The vivid colors in the new growth are often mistaken for flowers! Regular spring shearing encourages variegation, flowering, and twig production. Left unpruned it will cascade and can eventually reach 8-10'. Dwarf Japanese Willow is a superb accent and focal point in beds and borders, foundation plantings, alongside water features and natural areas. Good in containers, too! Brilliant white and pink leaves on a lovely mounding shrub. Size: 5' high x 3'–4' wide; Hardy to zone 4.
