Place our unit as high in a room as possible. A shelf or cabinet works best. Open all closet and dresser drawers. If possible, open one window about 1/2" to allow a slight amount of fresh air into the room. (Ozone needs fresh oxygen) If the home has central air, dial it to 68 degrees and flip the H VAC fan, ON. Cool, dry air makes the ozone generator work faster. Hot, humid air cuts efficiency which simply means you will need to run the machine longer. Next plug the machine in and turn the on/off button.  Do a quick sniff test to be sure its working then quickly leave the room and shut the door. Let it run for 2-4 hours depending upon the severity of the problem.     Finally, quickly go in the room, Turn the machine off and open the window wide then leave again quickly.  Allow the room to be aired out for at least one hour. If you have a window size fan this will speed things up. Upon returning you will notice a pleasant ozone odor which will dissipate over the next 24 hours.   One final thought.
