This generator was purchased new and run during Hurricane Wilma 2005 here in Florida. We ran the generator for 10 days and the Generator has been in storage.  I did start it multiple times since then to make sure it started right up. I cleaned it up a bit but could use a better wiping down on the top. This unit needs a new battery. I took the battery off the Generator and overcharged it. The battery will not hold a charge now. The automatic push button needs the battery to start.  Without the push button I can start the generator with the pull cord. The generator will start with 3-5 pulls of the cord.  I STARTED THE GENERATOR TODAY 11/17/08 WITH 3 PULLS. The battery is the only issue with this generator. These generators still retail for over $2000 and when I bought it during Hurricane Wilma there was a shortage and I paid $2600. A quick google search showed some Briggs and Stratton Batteries in the 25$-40$ price range. Also included with the Generator are several different Power Connectors.   THIS GENERATOR WAS LISTED ORGINALLY FOR PICKUP. BUT I AM WILLING TO CRATE THIS AND SHIP VIA A FREIGHT SERVICE.
