The design also creates a "scrubbing" action to assure the cell keeps operating smoothly for years. 2-inch wide piping minimizes any flow restrictions. The Aqua TurboCell is simply plumbed into the return pipe to the pool. Its wire is plugged into the control panel and the system is ready to go. Shape is round to maximize the strength and durability, and to dramatically increase the system burst rating to over 200 PSI. The only electrolytic cell with built in salt and temperature detection. Only cell that detects and notifies the pool owner via an LED in controller if the cell needs cleaning. A single glue joint design eliminates the potential of any water leaks. Isolated, triple-sealed, weatherproof wire connection area eliminates all water seepage into electric area. Cell can be installed in horizontal or vertical position, without concern regarding efficiency, performance or flow restrictions. Interior cell plates are titanium coated with numerous precise layers of ruthenium. Off-set design, creates a water flow turbulence pattern, which "scrubs" the cell plates, to help keep scaling to a minimum. Standard 2" union ends (55 mm available) for quick and easy installation, and later cleaning, and changing. Cell interior dimensions larger than the interior dimensions of a 2 1/2" PVC pipe. This ensures maximum water flow with minimum restriction. The minimum flow restriction allows direct installation with infloor cleaning systems eliminating need for any bypass piping, or separate return line.
