It features the carbide insert helical head with 6 rows of 4 sided carbide inserts arranged in a spiral configuration for glassy smooth finishes in the most difficult woods. The 5 hp 220 volt single phase motor puts out MONSTER power.  We also offer this in a 10 hp 3 phase model. Reeves drive type variable feed speed system allows feed rates of 19-39 FPM and the segmented rollers allow feeding of slightly different stock thicknesses. Segmented feed roll is standard, as well as a cast iron chip breaker and a 4 inch dust hood.
